Experience Tanzania’s iconic wildlife and the unique cultural traditions of the Hadzabe and Datoga
communities at Lake Eyasi.
DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT KILIMANJARO AIRPORT
After a short briefing, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative/driver-guide. You will then
be transferred to the Tarangire House of nature camp for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 2: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
Early morning departure after breakfast for Tarangire National Park, with a picnic lunch. This park,
home to the largest ecosystem in Tarangire, is an important stopover for migratory birds. It extends
along the Tarangire River and consists primarily of low hills at the bottom of a wide valley. Its natural
vegetation consists primarily of acacia forests and giant African baobabs, as well as extensive
wetlands. Dinner and overnight stay at the Tarangire House of Nature.
DAY 3: FROM TARANGIRE TO SERENGETI VIA NGORONGORO WITH POSSIBLE GAME VIEWS
After breakfast, depart Tarangire National Park for Serengeti National Park. The journey will take you
through the stunning Karatu Highlands and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, offering breathtaking
views. Enjoy a photo safari along the way and observe wildlife as you head towards the vast Serengeti
plains. Arrive in the afternoon and settle into the lodge, where you can relax and enjoy the tranquil
surroundings before dinner and an overnight stay..
DAY 4: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, you’ll embark on a safari in Serengeti National Park, including a picnic lunch. In the
heart of wild Africa, Serengeti National Park, with its endless plains stretching as far as the eye can
see, offers an exceptional view of the Serengeti. We’ll head to the park’s central area, known as
Seronera, one of the Serengeti’s richest wildlife habitats. The Seronera River, a precious source of
water, attracts wildlife that represents most of the Serengeti’s species. Dinner and overnight at the
Serengeti House of Nature.
DAY 05: SERENGETI – CRATER IN THE NGORONGORO https://www.ncaa.go.tz
After breakfast, a morning departure from the Serengeti will take you to the Serengeti plains and the
Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival, you’ll descend into this magnificent crater for a game drive with a
picnic lunch. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s most densely populated game reserves, home
to approximately 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos. At 8,300
square kilometers, the Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest volcanic caldera and arguably one of the most spectacular. In the afternoon, you’ll be transferred to Karatu for an overnight stay at the
Octagon Lodge..
DAY 06: KARATU – LAKE EYAS
Wake up early after breakfast and set off for a picnic lunch at Lake Eyasi. Lake Eyasi is a shallow,
seasonal endorheic salt lake located at the bottom of the Great Rift Valley, at the foot of the Serengeti
Plateau, just south of Serengeti National Park and immediately southwest of the Ngorongoro Crater
in Tanzania’s Crater Highlands. The elongated lake, oriented southwest to northeast, lies within the
Eyasi-Wembere Branch of the Great Rift Valley. This area is home to the Hadzabe Bushmen, as well as
the Datoga and Mbulu tribes. A visit to the Bushmen is a worthwhile experience: they will kindly show
you where and how they live and hunt. They live exclusively by bushcraft and bowhunting. Everything
they use is made from local materials, including their bows, strung with giraffe sinew, and their arrows,
coated with deadly poison. Later in the day you will be transferred to Arusha for overnight stay at
Kutoka Lodge.
DAY 7: DEPARTURE DAY
After breakfast at the Lodge, you will prepare for departure and be transferred to the airport for your
return flight.

unlimited mileage as per the itinerary. The vehicle has a sunroof that
provides shade and allows for 360-degree views for maximum wildlife observation and optimal
